There were 556 entries in the draw, each one being earned by participating in a programmed event at Athletics Wollongong's Wednesday meets. The winning effort was Zeke's entry in the 4x100m last Wednesday - some reward for showing up in those terrible conditions! He had also maximised his chances, as he was one of the few members who had contested every possible event for their age across our first three rounds.
So there's the winning formula! Follow Zeke's lead to increase your odds in our November participation draw: show up each week, if possible, and give every event a go.
If you can't attend all of our meets, then perhaps make a special effort to be there for our next Run Havoc $100 Gift Voucher 'Achievement' draw. That event will be the 60m on November 12th (Week 5). Remember: it's not necessarily the fastest across the line; it's the best age-scaled performance that will take home the chocolates. (Also, that night is the only opportunity this season to attempt our club's youngest records: the 10000m!)
